Pet Blessing Service St. Francis of Assisi once wrote, "All praise to you, O Lord, for all these brother and sister creatures." 

 

Every summer, we offer a special worship service where we invite anyone to bring their furry or feathered friends to church for a special blessing.

 

Why would a church do this?

...because part of being a Christian is being grateful for the gifts in our lives, including these special creatures that act as companions and thus echo God's love for us!
