Terry's Tanzania Trek Benefit 5K In the wilds of Africa (Tanzania to be exact), there is a deep need for children's schooling.

Not only does it provide the student with a better future,

it also frees up the older siblings to work and help support their families.

 

In the wilds of Wisconsin (Kewaukum to be exact) there is an organization called

"Brick By Brick for Tanzania" that aims to provide school buildings & staff to communities in need. Learn more about "Brick By Brick For Tanzania" here.

 

In the Fall of 2010, one of Brick By Brick's most ardent supporters, Rev. Terry Berg, passed away. Pr. Terry was a member of the Board of Directors of Brick By Brick, and so it was decided that a special event be organized to raise the funds and build a new school in Tanzania in Pr. Terry's honor. A benefit 5K was planned and called "Terry's Tanzania Trek."
