Affirmation Of Baptism (Confirmation)

At St. Luke, students from grades 6-8 stop attending "Sunday School" and begin attending Confirmation classes.

At its heart, the process of confirmation is a process of diving even deeper into faith and affirming the promises made at the student's Baptism.

Our three-year program gives students the opportunity to ask the real questions that are on their minds and learn the basics about

- The Chosen People (The Old Testament) - 2011-2012 topic

- The Lord's Prayer, Creed & 10 Commandments (The Catechism) - 2012-2013 topic

- The Life of Jesus (The New Testament) - 2013-2014 topic

Classes meet from 11:30 - 2:00 PM on selected Sunday afternoons.

Confirmation Take-Home Sheets (Make-up Work)

If your student misses a class period, we ask that you download and complete the worksheets below with your student, and return them to Pr. Matt or Poppy.

Most weeks have two sheets, which means both must be submitted

We also know that Faith is "caught" not taught, so these files can also be a resource for parents wanting to connect what the student is learning at church with what they are learning at home...
