Matthew Short - Pastor    e-mail

Pr. Matt joined the St. Luke Staff in October of 2008, and is excited about the things God is doing through this church!

Jessica, his wife, is also a Pastor (they met in seminary!) and she currently serves as the Protestant Campus Pastor at Marquette University.

Together, they have two kids; Charissa (born in 2004), and Lucas (born in 2007).

 

Prs. Matthew and Jessica understand what it is like to be a busy young family (and these stories often find their way into Pr. Matt's sermons!)

Michelle Kiekhaefer - Parish Administrator   e-mail

 

Michelle joined the St. Luke Staff in 1994, and has overseen the day-to-day operations of the office ever since. If you need a question answered, she's the person to talk to!

 

Michelle and her husband, Terry, have three grown kids; Grant, Lauren, and April.

 

Poppy Elshaug - Director of Youth & Family Ministries e-mailPoppy joined the St. Luke Staff in 2010, and enjoys leading our High School & Junior High ministries!

 

Poppy and her husband, Joe, have three kids; Nora, Alyssa, & Brennen (with one more on the way...due in October 2011!)

Karen Berg - Discipleship Coordinator   e-mailKaren joined the St. Luke Staff in 2011, and is engaged in the blessed and ongoing work of helping St. Luke members learn about their spiritual gifts.

 

Karen has three grown sons; John, Dave, and Stephen.

 

 

 

Karen Horwitz - Musician   e-mailKaren joined the St. Luke Staff in 2008, and uses her incredible musical gifts to create a worship atmosphere where all can encounter the living God! On a given Sunday, you may find her playing everything from classic hymns to "The Pink Panther"!

 

Karen is a caregiver for her many four-legged "children" including Moby, Madison, and Tulsa.

 

Sandy Duehring - "Spirit of St. Luke" Choir Director

 

Sandy joined the St. Luke Staff in 2007, and leads the choir as they enrich our common worship with their music.

 

Sandy and her husband, Bob, have one grown son, Rob.

 

 

 

Chet Woerishofer - Custodian

Chet joined the St. Luke Staff in 2006, and keeps St. Luke clean and inviting!

 

Chet and his wife, Betty, have 4 grown kids; Cheryl, Wendy, Bryon, and Brad.
